The FortiAP 432FR is engineered for environments where wireless must combine high performance with resilience. Supporting dual-band operation (2.4 GHz and 5 GHz), this access point features a dedicated 2.5 GbE uplink port and an additional 1 GbE LAN/PoE-out port, enabling high-capacity backhaul and powering downstream devices with ease. External antennas and wall/pole mounting kits come standard for flexible deployments.
Connectivity for IoT and asset tracking is built-in: the 432FR includes BLE and Zigbee radios for beaconing and sensor networks, reducing the need for separate gateway infrastructure. Security is integral, with support for WPA3 Enterprise, rogue AP detection, WIDS/WIPS, and seamless integration into the Fortinet Security Fabric when managed by a FortiGate controller or via FortiLAN Cloud.
