Overview

The IOC and Outbreak Detection service delivers two capabilities to the FortiAnalyzer 1000G platform. FortiGuard IOC feeds provide continuously updated indicators of compromise drawn from Fortinet’s global threat intelligence network, which monitors activity across millions of sensors worldwide. When a log event matches a known IOC, analysts receive the corresponding threat context rather than a raw event with no attribution. Outbreak detection signatures identify patterns consistent with emerging or ongoing outbreak campaigns. When a new campaign reaches outbreak status in the FortiGuard network, the matching signature is pushed to the analyzer, enabling detection of that campaign within the monitored environment before a full vendor advisory has been issued.

This subscription requires an active FortiAnalyzer 1000G base license. Term is 12 months. Delivery is electronic and the license is valid worldwide with no geographic restriction.
