Match your model to the kit name, or type the model number into the search box on this page. For example, a FortiGate 70F uses the RM-FR-T10 standard kit or the RM-FR-T10I shielded version. If you are unsure, send us the model and we will confirm the exact part.
Both give the same 1U fit and front-facing ports. The shielded version (the I suffix, for example RM-FR-T10I) adds electromagnetic shielding for sites with strict EMC requirements. If you have no specific EMC requirement, the standard kit is the right choice.
Use a DIN-rail mount (the RM-FR-D and RM-FR-W parts) when the appliance goes into an industrial or electrical cabinet on a DIN rail rather than a 19-inch rack. These mounts are common in OT and edge deployments and accept a wide-range DC input, typically 18 to 72 VDC.
Some kits do. The Duo kits (such as RM-FR-T20 and RM-FR-T22) hold two units side by side in 1U, and combo kits like the RM-FR-T29 mount a FortiGate and a FortiSwitch together. The fit is listed on each kit.
