Performance is identical — both run the same NP7 + CP10 platform with 795 Gbps firewall, 250 Gbps IPS and 200 Gbps threat protection. The only difference is power: the 3800G uses dual hot-swappable AC supplies; the 3800G-DC uses dual hot-swappable DC supplies for carrier and colocation environments that run on DC bus power.
