What you get

FTM-ELIC-5 is an electronic license certificate for five FortiToken Mobile activations. Each license enrolls the FortiToken Mobile app on one user’s iOS, Android, or Windows device, generating a time-based one-time password for two-factor login. The license is perpetual and registered to a single FortiGate or FortiAuthenticator appliance; it does not expire and carries no annual renewal fee.

How it works

Once activated, the FortiToken Mobile app displays a rotating six-digit code that refreshes on a fixed interval, synchronized with the FortiGate or FortiAuthenticator clock. Users enter the code alongside their password at VPN, admin, or application login. Administrators provision tokens directly from the appliance’s user database, so no separate token-management server is needed. FortiOS 5.6.0 or later, or FortiAuthenticator 1.4 or later, is required to register the licenses.

Choosing the right pack size

Five licenses fit a micro-office or a proof-of-concept: a single site with an owner, a couple of admins, and a handful of remote staff, or an IT team testing FortiToken before committing to a wider rollout. If the appliance already protects more than five named users, FTM-ELIC-10 covers a small team or branch office without buying two 5-Packs, and works out to a lower cost per user.
