The FANT-04ABGN-1414-P-N is the highest-gain patch in Fortinet’s dual-band antenna line, built to throw a FortiAP signal a long way in a controlled direction rather than spread it around a room. It delivers 14dBi on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz through a narrow 35 degree beam, which is exactly what keeps co-channel interference down when many access points share a large hall. Four dual-band N-Type jacks on the back feed a 4-lead radio, and the weatherized housing (rated to -30C) takes outdoor and warehouse exposure.

Reach for the 1414-P-N when a FortiAP has to cover a long, narrow area, a warehouse aisle, a rail platform, a stadium concourse, from one end, where a 14dBi 35 degree beam carries far without bleeding into the next cell. Its high gain and narrow pattern make it a coverage-planning tool: aim it, and the signal goes where you point it. The pigtail leads are ordered separately, so factor those into the parts list.

Terminates on 4 N-Type male connectors for a 4-lead dual-band FortiAP radio, mast-mounted via the included industrial articulating bracket. For a wider, lower-gain patch that covers a broader area at shorter range, the FANT-04ABGN-8065-P-N (8/6.5dBi, 60-70 degree beam) is the alternative in the same N-Type family. For 360 degree coverage instead of a beam, use a FANT-04ABGN or FANT-06ABGN omnidirectional antenna.
