The FAP-SMNT-MTL-20 is the metal, extended-standoff mounting bracket for FortiAP indoor access points, twenty to a box. Unlike the standard bracket, it is metal and stands the access point off the surface, which helps with airflow and cable dressing, and its compatibility list extends back to the legacy FAP-421E, 423E, and 231E as well as the current models. The twenty-pack suits a full deployment or a bulk stock of durable mounts.

Choose the FAP-SMNT-MTL-20 when you want a metal bracket with an extended standoff, for durability, airflow, or cable clearance, or when you are mounting the legacy FAP-421E/423E/231E that the current standard bracket does not list. The twenty-pack is the bulk unit. For a lighter standard bracket use the FAP-400-SMNT-20; for a small metal pack of 5, the FAP-ALL-MTL-5.

Compatibility

Fits the current FAP-231K/241K/243K/441K/443K and 231F/431F/433F/831F/U431F/U433F plus the legacy FAP-421E/423E/231E, on standard T-rail, wall, or ceiling. It is the extended-standoff metal option; the FAP-ALL-MTL-5 is the same metal family in a 5-pack, and the FAP-400-SMNT-20 is the standard (non-metal) 20-pack.
