The FG-7040E-PS-AC is Fortinet’s 1500-watt AC power supply for the FortiGate 7030E/7040E chassis and the high-end FortiGate 3500F, 3501F, 3700F, and 3701F firewalls. It is a hot-swappable, redundant module accepting 100-240 VAC, so a supply can be replaced or added without downtime. Keeping a spare supports the N+1 power redundancy these platforms are built around.

Use the FG-7040E-PS-AC to replace a failed AC supply or add redundancy on a FortiGate 7030E/7040E chassis or a FortiGate 3500F/3501F/3700F/3701F appliance fed from AC mains. These platforms run redundant supplies, so swapping or adding a module keeps the system powered through a PSU failure or maintenance.

Compatibility

Powers the FortiGate 7030E, 7040E chassis and the 3500F/3501F/3700F/3701F appliances from AC. For -48 VDC plants use the FG-7040E-PS-DC instead. Note the larger FortiGate 7060E uses its own FG-7060E-PS-AC, which is NOT interchangeable with this 7040E-class supply. An IEC power cord is ordered separately.
