It is a hot-swappable, redundant module for -48 VDC central-office and telecom power plants, letting a supply be replaced or added without dropping the system. Keeping a spare backs the N+1 power redundancy these deployments require. This is the dedicated 2KW DC supply; the chassis can alternatively use the shared 2.5KW FG7K-PS-2K5DC.
