The Fortinet FRPS-740-FS is an external 740W redundant power supply for PoE-class FortiSwitch access switches. One FRPS-740-FS provides backup power to up to two supported FortiSwitch PoE units, keeping the switch — and every phone, camera, or access point drawing PoE from it — online if an internal supply fails. It is a genuine Fortinet part rated for the sustained current a PoE switch pulls at load.
