FC-10-PU234-204-02-12 is a 1-year additive upgrade SKU. It does not replace the existing FortiCare Premium contract — it upgrades the entitlement level on the registered FortiAP-U234F serial number to Elite for the upgrade term. Activation is performed through Fortinet’s support portal by applying the upgrade to the serial number enrolled under the existing Premium contract. No hardware exchange or physical return is involved. The upgrade takes effect on the active serial number registration without resetting or replacing the base contract term.
Premium provides 24×7 TAC with 1-hour P1 response, 2-hour P2 response, firmware updates, and next-business-day advance hardware exchange.
