Overview

The Cloud Email API Connector Service (service code 409) connects FortiMail VM directly to cloud email platforms through their native APIs. Microsoft 365 is accessed via the Microsoft Graph API, Google Workspace via the Gmail API, and Exchange on-premises through its native interface. Mail routing does not change and no MX record modification is required at any point in deployment.

FortiMail then applies its anti-phishing, anti-spam, sandboxing, and data loss prevention engines to messages in those mailboxes. The FEVVS VM tier 6 is the highest-capacity FortiMail VM size, scaled for large mail environments where scanning throughput and concurrent API connections matter. The 1-year term (term code 12) covers a single 12-month subscription period beginning at activation.
