This subscription activates three protection layers on your FortiGate 3001F:

• OT Device Detection — continuously updated signature packages identify and catalog OT and ICS devices on the network, providing device metadata for segmentation and NAC enforcement policies.
• OT Vulnerability Correlation and Virtual Patching — maps known CVEs against detected OT devices and applies virtual patches via FortiGate IPS profiles, reducing exposure without requiring firmware changes on the OT equipment itself.
• OT Application Control and IPS — extends application control and intrusion prevention with signatures written for industrial protocols including Modbus, DNP3, and IEC 104, so malicious traffic targeting those protocols is blocked at the firewall.
