Twenty million concurrent sessions and half a million new sessions per second put it well above mid-range FortiGate models, without stepping into the full chassis-based platforms. If the network already has content filtering and antimalware handled somewhere else and the priority is raw firewalling plus IPS, the lighter ATP tier is worth comparing before committing to UTP.
