Activation and delivery

This is a software license. After your order is confirmed, DataCenter360.ca delivers the FortiCare registration key electronically, typically within the same business day. You register it in the Fortinet Support Portal (support.fortinet.com) under your FortiGate 100F serial number, and the entitlement activates immediately. No hardware ships.

FortiCare Premium vs. a bundle

FortiCare Premium covers support and RMA only. It does not activate FortiGuard security services such as IPS signatures, antivirus, web filtering, or application control. Does FortiCare Premium include FortiGuard security services?
No. FortiCare Premium covers Fortinet technical support, RMA logistics, and firmware portal access only. FortiGuard services (IPS, antivirus, web filtering, etc.) require a separate subscription — either à la carte or bundled in the UTP or Enterprise tiers.

What is the P1 response time for FortiCare Premium?
One hour. Fortinet commits to initial contact from a support engineer within one hour for Priority 1 issues (complete loss of service). This is a significant improvement over the next-business-day response offered under FortiCare Essential.

Can I upgrade from FortiCare Essential to Premium mid-contract?
Yes. Fortinet allows support tier upgrades. You would purchase a Premium upgrade SKU for the remaining contract period and register it against your firewall serial number. Contact DataCenter360.ca for the correct upgrade part number.

Does Priority RMA ship the same day?
Priority RMA (4-hour on-site or next-business-day advanced replacement) is a separate add-on service. FortiCare Premium makes you eligible to purchase Priority RMA, but it is not included by default. The standard RMA under Premium is next-business-day advanced replacement.

How long does it take to receive the license key after ordering?
