What Secure RMA covers

Secure RMA is a Priority RMA add-on for the FortiGate 601E. Under a standard advance-replacement RMA, Fortinet ships a replacement and the failed appliance goes back. Secure RMA removes that return requirement: the customer retains the defective hardware, so any data resident on it never leaves the premises. It is designed for organizations with strict data-handling rules, such as government, finance, healthcare and defence. Secure RMA sits on top of an underlying FortiCare Premium or Elite contract, which provides the advance-replacement logistics and technical support the add-on depends on.
