FortiCare Essential is Fortinet’s base service plan for FortiGate 80F-POE appliances. It keeps the device supported throughout its deployment life: firmware and feature updates keep threat protection current, a hardware replacement program covers failed units (next-business-day advance replacement), and portal access gives your team the tools to open tickets and download software. It does not include telephone support or priority same-day RMA — those steps up are FortiCare Premium and Elite.
The FortiGate 80F-POE combines firewall, SD-WAN, and PoE power delivery in one unit, letting branch offices run IP cameras or wireless APs without a separate PoE switch. FortiCare Essential keeps its firmware current and ensures a replacement unit ships if the hardware fails.

This is an electronic subscription. After your order is confirmed, DataCenter360.ca delivers the license registration code by email, typically within the same business day.
