This one-year Advanced Malware Protection subscription (FC-10-FG9H0-100-02-12) pairs traditional and AI-based antivirus with FortiGate Cloud Sandbox on a FortiGate 900G, so unknown files can be detonated and judged before they reach an endpoint.
AMP bundles the file-security layer of FortiGuard into one entitlement for the FortiGate 900G: antivirus, AI-based heuristic AV, mobile malware protection, botnet domain blocking, virus outbreak protection, content disarm and reconstruction, and FortiGate Cloud Sandbox for zero-day analysis. Suspicious files are inspected inline and, when the verdict is uncertain, sent to the cloud sandbox for behavioral detonation.
Choose AMP when malware and ransomware are your primary concern on a 900G and you want strong file inspection without committing to a full bundle yet. It is also a clean renewal target if your appliance already runs AMP. Environments that also need web filtering or intrusion prevention will get more coverage per dollar from a bundle.
The license is electronic. Once you order, DataCenter360.ca registers it against your FortiGate 900G serial number and the malware protection features switch on. No box ships. Digital delivery means the entitlement is available to buyers in any country.
