Authorized Partner for United States (US)FC-10-F50GD-595-02-12 is a one-year FortiSASE subscription tied to the FortiGate 50G-DSL, bundling cloud-delivered secure access with cloud management and a bandwidth license. It extends Fortinet’s security from the on-site firewall out to users and traffic that do not sit behind it.
FortiSASE moves security inspection into Fortinet’s cloud so that remote and roaming users get the same policy enforcement as people in the office. This subscription includes the cloud management needed to run that service and a bandwidth license that sizes how much traffic can be inspected. For a 50G-DSL site, it is a way to protect connections that reach past the local firewall, such as staff working off-network.
This suits small sites on a DSL uplink that also have remote workers, or that want web traffic secured through the cloud rather than backhauled through the branch. It is a fit where the FortiGate 50G-DSL anchors the location but the workforce is partly mobile.
Delivery is electronic. We email the activation code after checkout; it is registered to the 50G-DSL and provisions the FortiSASE entitlement, including the bandwidth allowance. There is no hardware component to ship.
FortiSASE is about securing access for distributed users, which is different from the on-box FortiGuard protection in the UTP or Enterprise bundle, and different again from device management through FortiGate Cloud. Sites often run an on-box security bundle for the local network and add FortiSASE for the people and traffic outside it. This SKU is offered as a one-year term.
