The FAP-MNT-GBOX-10PK is Fortinet’s adjustable metallic mount for the situations a flat bracket cannot handle: mounting a FortiAP to an electrical junction box, to T-bar, or hung from conduit. Each mount attaches an access point to a single-gang, double-gang, or 4×4 junction-box outlet, to a 15/16-inch T-bar, or to 3/4-inch trade-size hanging conduit, giving installers a code-friendly way to place an AP where an outlet box or conduit drop already exists. It ships ten to a pack.

Reach for the FAP-MNT-GBOX-10PK when a FortiAP has to mount onto an existing junction box or hang from conduit rather than sit flat on a wall or ceiling, common in retail, warehousing, and open-ceiling builds where power and data terminate at an outlet box. The adjustable design covers gang boxes, 4×4 boxes, T-bar, and conduit from one part. For plain flat-surface mounting, the FAP-400-SMNT-20 or metal FAP-SMNT-MTL-20 brackets apply.

Compatibility

Mounts FortiAPs that support external bracket mounting to single/double-gang and 4×4 junction boxes, 15/16-inch T-bar, and 3/4-inch hanging conduit. It is the junction-box/conduit option; for flat wall/ceiling or T-rail mounting use the FAP-400-SMNT-20 (standard), FAP-ALL-MTL-5 or FAP-SMNT-MTL-20 (metal) brackets instead.
