The SP-FAP200-PA-US is Fortinet’s external AC/DC power adapter for indoor FortiAP access points, delivering a regulated 12V DC @ 2.5A (30 W) from a 100-240V AC source. It is the North America member of the SP-FAP200-PA family: the electrical output is identical across the family, and only the wall plug changes per region. This North America variant ships with the Type B plug used in the USA, Canada, Mexico and Japan (the NEMA 5-15 three-pin outlet — the correct choice for Canadian sites). Use it to power a FortiAP directly where a PoE switch or PoE injector is not available.
