FortiCare Elite builds on the Premium foundation. Premium already provides 24x7x365 telephone support with a 1-hour response target for critical issues, next-business-day response for non-critical issues, and Standard RMA advanced-replacement hardware coverage. The Elite upgrade tightens those response targets to 15 minutes for critical issues and 2 business hours for non-critical issues, and adds 18-month Extended End-of-Engineering-Support (E-EoES) for longer firmware and troubleshooting coverage. The hardware RMA type itself does not change: Elite keeps the same Standard RMA advanced-replacement coverage as Premium, not a faster RMA tier.

If your team already has Premium and wants faster case handling without re-purchasing the entire contract, this is the most cost-effective route to Elite coverage for the year.
