The FortiAP-U321EV is built for those environments. FortiCare Premium (FC-10-PU321-247-02-12) gives the U321EV 24×7 TAC coverage, a 1-hour P1 response SLA, next-business-day advance hardware exchange, and continued firmware entitlement for one year. It is the baseline service contract recommended for any production FortiAP deployment.

What FortiCare Premium covers

FortiCare Premium on the U321EV gives your team direct access to Fortinet’s technical assistance centre at any hour via phone, email, or web portal. The P1 response SLA is 1 hour, P2 is 2 hours. When the AP requires hardware replacement, Fortinet ships an advance exchange unit before the failed hardware is returned, minimizing the time the outdoor location is without coverage. Firmware entitlement is active for the term, including updates to FortiAP software and security patches. The contract is registered to the U321EV serial number and appears in the FortiCare portal for asset management and renewal tracking.
