The FG-TRAN-QSFP-4SFP-5 is the longer-reach sibling of Fortinet’s QSFP optical breakout, covering the same 40G/100G-to-4x10G/25G split at 5m instead of 1m. It uses the same MPO-to-4xLC OM3 multimode construction, so it can reach an adjacent rack or span a wider cabinet where the 1m version would come up short.
