The FortiAP U432F is a ruggedized, IP67-rated Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) Universal access point built for indoor/outdoor deployment in building exteriors, large warehouses, stadiums and transport hubs. Its tri-radio, 4x4 MIMO design runs dual 5 GHz radios with 11 external antennas, reaching up to 9.68 Gbps aggregate using the Wi-Fi 6 toolkit — OFDMA, MU-MIMO, BSS coloring and Target Wake Time — for high-density coverage in demanding outdoor and harsh-indoor environments. As part of the Universal (UTP) family it can run FortiGuard Universal Threat Protection services on the AP itself, bringing firewall-grade protection to the wireless edge, and is managed by any FortiGate, by FortiLAN Cloud or by FortiSASE. High-performance 802.3bt PoE (also compatible with 802.3at and 802.3af at reduced capability) feeds the higher data rates. The U432F is end-of-order but remains in our catalog, fully supported and renewable through 2030.
