The FortiGate 81E adds a 1x 128 GB onboard SSD for local logging and reporting; ports and SoC3 security performance are identical to the FortiGate 80E, which has no onboard storage. The 80E-PoE and 81E-PoE variants swap the switch ports for 12 PoE/PoE+ ports with a 110 W budget.
