OVERVIEW

What the FortiWiFi 30E is for

The FortiWiFi 30E is an end-of-life compact desktop next-generation firewall from Fortinet's 30E series, built for small and remote offices that need enterprise-grade protection plus integrated Wi-Fi in a fanless chassis. It delivers 950 Mbps firewall throughput, 200 Mbps NGFW, 150 Mbps of threat protection and 900,000 concurrent sessions across five GE RJ45 ports, with a built-in dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n access point, SD-WAN and FortiGuard security in FortiOS.

The 30E reached end of life, so the hardware is no longer sold; you can still renew its FortiGuard security services and FortiCare support to keep an installed unit protected, using the renewal options below. When you are ready to replace it, the currently-shipping FortiWiFi 30G is the direct successor — Wi-Fi 6 and roughly 4x the firewall throughput in the same desktop form factor — and the FortiWiFi 50G steps up further for growing sites.
