End-of-life compact fanless desktop next-generation firewall with integrated dual-band Wi-Fi, built on Fortinet's purpose-built SoC security processor, with 2.5 Gbps firewall throughput, 1.8 million concurrent sessions and seven GE RJ45 ports plus an 802.11 a/b/g/n access point for small offices and branches. The FortiWiFi 50E hardware is no longer sold — FortiGuard and FortiCare renewals are still available below, and the FortiWiFi 50G is the direct, currently-shipping Wi-Fi 6 replacement.
The FortiWiFi 50E is end of life. The FortiWiFi 50G is the direct, currently-shipping replacement with Wi-Fi 6 and about 2x the firewall throughput with much higher NGFW and threat protection; the FortiWiFi 70G steps up further. Same FortiOS and FortiGuard services across the range.
