The FortiWiFi 70G is a current-generation ‘G’ series appliance, fully supported with active FortiGuard and FortiCare subscriptions. It is Fortinet’s high-port-density desktop firewall with an integrated dual-radio Wi-Fi 6 access point for branch and small-office sites.
Ten Gigabit RJ45 ports (two WAN, six internal, and two FortiLink), plus a USB and an RJ45 console port. A built-in dual-radio Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) access point uses three SMA antennas. For Power over Ethernet, choose the FortiWiFi 70G PoE.
The security performance and ports are the same. The FortiWiFi 70G adds an integrated dual-radio Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) access point with three antennas, so one unit handles firewall, SD-WAN, and wireless. The FortiGate 70G is wired-only, with no Wi-Fi.
Most sites choose UTP for web, DNS, and video filtering on top of IPS and anti-malware. ATP covers core threat protection only. Enterprise adds the full SASE and security service set. Hardware-plus-bundle SKUs are listed below by term.
