The FortiWiFi 70G PoE is a compact desktop next-generation firewall that pairs the 70G security platform with an integrated dual-radio Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) access point and Power over Ethernet. Built on Fortinet's SP5 secure SD-WAN ASIC, it delivers 1.3 Gbps of threat protection, 10 Gbps firewall throughput, 1.4 million concurrent sessions, and integrated SD-WAN. Four of its ten Gigabit ports supply IEEE 802.3af/at PoE/PoE+ power, up to a 60 W budget, so a branch can run IP phones, cameras, and access points without a separate PoE switch. The FortiWiFi 70G is the same platform without PoE; the FortiWiFi 71G adds a 64 GB onboard SSD.

Mount the FortiWiFi 70G PoE on a desk, on a wall, in a rack tray, or on a DIN rail.
The FortiWiFi 70G PoE is a current-generation ‘G’ series appliance, fully supported with active FortiGuard and FortiCare subscriptions. It is Fortinet’s high-port-density desktop firewall that adds Power over Ethernet and an integrated dual-radio Wi-Fi 6 access point for branch and small-office sites.
Four of its Gigabit RJ45 ports supply IEEE 802.3af/at PoE/PoE+ power, with up to a 60 W total power budget. That is enough to run VoIP phones, IP cameras, and Wi-Fi access points directly from the firewall, without a separate PoE switch.
Ten Gigabit RJ45 ports: two WAN, four PoE/PoE+, and four internal, plus a USB and an RJ45 console port. A built-in dual-radio Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) access point uses three SMA antennas. For the same platform without PoE, choose the FortiWiFi 70G.
Most sites choose UTP for web, DNS, and video filtering on top of IPS and anti-malware. ATP covers core threat protection only. Enterprise adds the full SASE and security service set. Hardware-plus-bundle SKUs are listed below by term.
