Files are inspected inline — no waiting for cloud detonation results — making this service practical for environments where latency matters. ILMPS is an Enterprise-tier service: it is included in the FortiWiFi 70G-PoE Enterprise bundle but must be purchased separately if you run UTP or a lower tier.

FortiGuard Inline Malware Prevention Service (service code 577) uses machine learning models trained on Fortinet’s global threat intelligence corpus. For the FortiWiFi 70G-PoE, it provides:

This SKU is for organisations running UTP (950) or a lower subscription tier who want to add the AI malware layer without upgrading the entire bundle.
