End-of-sale high-density 100 GbE data center spine switch (32x 100GE QSFP28, data only, 6.4 Tbps switching, FortiLink-managed). The FS-3032E hardware is no longer stocked - the modern successor is the FortiSwitch 3032G, and the current in-stock data-center switch we ship is the FortiSwitch 2048F. See the upgrade path below.

The FortiSwitch 3032E is Fortinet's highest-density data center spine switch - 32 ports of 100 GbE on QSFP28, each able to step down to 40/25/10 GbE, data only (no PoE), delivering 6.4 Tbps of switching capacity and 5,952 Mpps of forwarding in a 1RU chassis. Built for spine-and-leaf fabrics and 100 GbE aggregation, it carries dual hot-swappable AC power supplies with front-to-back airflow and runs Layer 2/3 FortiSwitchOS. Managed over FortiLink from any FortiGate, it folds the data center fabric into the Security Fabric so switching and security share one console.
The 3032E has reached end of sale and is no longer stocked as new hardware. Its modern successor is the FortiSwitch 3032G (32x 100GE QSFP28, current G-series) - contact us to quote it. For a switch we keep in stock today, the FortiSwitch 2048F covers high-density data-center server access with 48x 25 GbE SFP28 plus 100 GbE QSFP28 uplinks; the FortiSwitch 1024E suits smaller 10 GbE deployments. See the upgrade path below, or contact us for migration help.

Download the FortiSwitch Data Center datasheetThe 3032E is a 32-port 100 GbE data-center spine switch, data only, and is now end of sale. Its modern successor is the FortiSwitch 3032G; for a currently-stocked option, the FortiSwitch 2048F delivers 48x 25 GbE SFP28 server ports with 100 GbE QSFP28 uplinks.
The 3032E is end of sale. The direct successor is the FortiSwitch 3032G (current 32x 100GE QSFP28 spine). For a switch we keep in stock, the FortiSwitch 2048F is the high-density data-center option with 25 GbE SFP28 servers and 100 GbE QSFP28 uplinks; step down to the 24-port FortiSwitch 1024E for smaller 10 GbE sites. Same FortiSwitchOS and FortiLink management across the range.
100 GbE QSFP28 transceivers and direct-attach cables for the spine ports, plus the FS-PSU-800 spare power supply. Current 100 GbE optics carry over to the FortiSwitch 2048F and 3032G.
No. The FortiSwitch 3032E (FS-3032E) has reached end of sale and is no longer stocked as new hardware. Its modern successor is the FortiSwitch 3032G – we can quote it – and the current data-center switch we keep in stock is the FortiSwitch 2048F.
The direct successor is the FortiSwitch 3032G, a current G-series 32x 100GE QSFP28 spine switch. For a switch we stock today, the FortiSwitch 2048F covers high-density server access with 48x 25 GbE SFP28 and 100 GbE QSFP28 uplinks; the FortiSwitch 1024E suits smaller 10 GbE sites.
32 ports of 100 GbE on QSFP28 (each port able to step down to 40/25/10 GbE), data only (no PoE), 6.4 Tbps switching capacity, 5,952 Mpps forwarding, a 40,000-entry MAC table and 4,094 VLANs, with dual hot-swappable AC power supplies and front-to-back airflow in a 1RU chassis.
Over FortiLink from any FortiGate firewall, so switching and security were managed in one console with no separate controller. It could also run standalone. The 3032G and 2048F keep the same FortiLink management.
Yes. As a Fortinet Select Partner we can spec the right current FortiSwitch, match port, uplink and capacity needs, and quote hardware plus FortiCare. Hardware ships free and fast; licensing is delivered electronically worldwide.
