• Incident triage: Detected events are classified by severity and intent. Low-noise, policy-routine events are filtered out; genuine threats get prioritized and documented.
• SOC escalation: High-severity incidents are escalated with context — source, target, affected policy, recommended remediation — so your security team can act immediately rather than investigate from scratch.

The service runs in FortiAnalyzer Cloud (included with SOCaaS), which provides the log storage and correlation infrastructure. No on-premises FortiAnalyzer appliance is required.
