This add-on upgrades the standard next-business-day replacement so the courier targets the next calendar day instead, weekends and holidays included, under the applicable country cutoff time. It is the entry point to Priority RMA: faster and more predictable than business-day-only replacement, without the cost of four-hour delivery. Coverage runs five years.
Deployments that need better than business-day-only replacement, especially where a weekend failure would otherwise wait until Monday, but where four-hour delivery is more than the site requires, are the target for this option.
Priority RMA is an add-on, not a standalone contract. It requires an active FortiCare Premium or Elite support contract on the 401F, since FortiCare Essential is not eligible for add-on RMA. Your FortiCare tier sets the support response times and the base replacement type, and this add-on accelerates how fast the replacement reaches you.
