What FC-10-0040F-211-02-60 Includes

This is a 60-month (5-year) Priority RMA add-on at the 4-Hour Hardware Delivery tier for the FortiGate 40F. Once Fortinet confirms the exchange, a courier is dispatched. The target is delivery to your site within 4 hours. There is no engineer component: the service is hardware replacement only, and your team racks, cables, and ships back the defective unit. Coverage applies on weekends and holidays. The 5-year term eliminates any mid-lifecycle renewal work.

FortiCare Tier Requirements

Paying for on-site engineer dispatch adds cost without benefit when competent hands are already on premises.

If the FortiGate 40F is at a location with no qualified staff, the FC-10-0040F-212-02-60 (4-Hour Hardware and Onsite Engineer, 5-year) adds engineer dispatch. A five-year term on either option simplifies long-term support planning for the device.

Yes. Priority RMA add-ons cover weekends and public holidays. Standard next-business-day RMA included with FortiCare Premium and Elite does not cover those periods.

Can I upgrade from -211- to -212- after purchase?
