During the three-year term, when TAC confirms a hardware failure, Fortinet ships a replacement unit the next calendar day after dispatch is confirmed. Without this add-on, standard FortiCare follows a return-and-replace process that requires the customer to ship the defective unit before a replacement is sent, which can extend recovery by several business days. Coverage applies weekends and holidays. Installation of the replacement is handled by the customer.

FortiCare Essential does not qualify for Priority RMA.
