Who fits the 5-year term

Activation and delivery

This subscription covers support and hardware logistics only. FortiGuard security services — including application control, IPS, web filtering, and DNS protection — require separate licensing or a bundle SKU. When the 5-year contract expires, the unit loses FortiCare coverage. You can renew at that point with a new FortiCare subscription. Fortinet continues to provide firmware updates under a separate channel for registered devices, but TAC access and hardware replacement require an active FortiCare contract.
Does FortiCare Premium include FortiGuard services?
No. FortiCare Premium is a support and hardware contract only. FortiGuard threat intelligence, URL filtering, and security feeds are not included. For combined coverage, the UTP bundle (FC-10-F80FD-950-02-60) or Enterprise bundle provide both under one SKU.
