The FortiGateRugged 30D is a DIN-rail-mounted security appliance built for industrial and utility environments: IEC 61850-3 and IEEE 1613 rated, with a wide operating temperature range designed for substations, manufacturing floors, and outdoor enclosures. Many of these units remain active in OT and ICS networks years after their initial deployment. Maintaining a FortiCare contract on a device still protecting production infrastructure means firmware security patches, hardware replacement coverage, and TAC access remain available for as long as the unit runs.
