What the OT Security Service Covers

Three capabilities are activated by this subscription:

• OT Device Detection: the FortiGate reads traffic to identify and profile connected ICS controllers, PLCs, RTUs, and field devices, building a live inventory with protocol and vendor metadata.
• OT Vulnerability Correlation and Virtual Patching: detected assets are cross-referenced against FortiGuard’s OT vulnerability database. When a match is found, a virtual patch is applied at the firewall layer to block known exploits against that device without touching the device itself.
• OT Application Control and IPS: adds industrial signatures to the existing IPS and Application Control engines, enabling detection and blocking of exploit traffic targeting Modbus, Profinet, EtherNet/IP, DNP3, IEC 104, and other OT protocols.

The FG-50G-DSL is a compact desktop appliance with an integrated DSL WAN port, suited to branch offices, remote substations, and sites with DSL connectivity. Activation and Delivery

This is a software subscription. DataCenter360.ca delivers the license key electronically within 0 to 1 business days of a confirmed order. Activation is done in FortiOS under System > FortiGuard, and no hardware changes are needed. The subscription begins on the activation date.
