The FN-CABLE-SFP56-DAC-L1 brings single-lane 50-gigabit connectivity to Fortinet ports that carry SFP56 cages. This 1-metre 50GBASE-CR cable uses passive twinax to link two SFP56 ports at a full 50GbE, with the connectors integrated and under 0.1W of draw. It is the thinnest, lowest-power way to make a short 50G hop inside a rack, with nothing extra to plug in.

Single-lane 50G is the middle ground between 25G and 100G aggregation, and passive DAC is the cheapest way to run it inside a rack: a 50G-capable Fortinet port to an adjacent switch or server. At 1m the thin 4.5mm cable routes easily in a dense cabinet and adds almost no heat. For 2.5m use the FN-CABLE-SFP56-DAC-LB5, and to move up to 200G use the QSFP56 DAC family.
Connects two 50GbE SFP56 ports as a single fixed-end assembly. For the 2.5m reach use the FN-CABLE-SFP56-DAC-LB5. For an optical 50G link over fiber use the FN-TRAN-SFP56-SR module; for 25G links the FN-CABLE-SFP28 cables are the lower-speed equivalent.
