The FN-CABLE-SFP56-DAC-LB5 is the 2.5-metre reach in Fortinet’s single-lane 50G copper range, for 50GBASE-CR links that cross from one rack to the next. Passive twinax carries a full 50GbE between two SFP56 ports with the connectors integrated and under 0.1W of draw. The slightly heavier 28 AWG, 5.5mm cable is the trade-off for the extra length over the 1m version.

Passive twinax keeps power and heat near zero, and the modest 5.5mm gauge stays easy to route. For same-rack links use the 1m FN-CABLE-SFP56-DAC-L1; to move up to 200G use the QSFP56 DAC cables.
Connects two 50GbE SFP56 ports as a single fixed-end assembly. For a shorter in-rack link use the FN-CABLE-SFP56-DAC-L1. For a 50G optical link over fiber use the FN-TRAN-SFP56-SR module; the FN-CABLE-SFP28 cables are the 25G lower-speed equivalent.
