The FN-TRAN-SFP28-LR carries 25-gigabit links the distance. This 25GBASE-LR module drives 25GbE (with 10GbE support) over single-mode fiber at 1310nm out to 10km, on a duplex LC connector, in any SFP28 port on a 25G-capable FortiGate or FortiSwitch. As a Fortinet-qualified optic it is recognized on the appliance rather than rejected as an unsupported module.
