The FortiWiFi 40F-3G4G adds an integrated 4G LTE modem (dual nano-SIM) to the FortiWiFi 40F platform, so a small site keeps connectivity over cellular when the wired link drops. It delivers the 40F SoC4 secure SD-WAN ASIC — 600 Mbps threat protection, 5 Gbps firewall, 700,000 sessions — with single-radio 802.11ac Wave 2 (Wi-Fi 5) wireless. It is now end-of-order: hardware is no longer sold new, but subscriptions renew normally on installed units. For new deployments, the current FortiWiFi 70G covers the same role with Wi-Fi 6.
