What is the hardware replacement process under FortiCare Premium?
Fortinet’s standard RMA under Premium is next-business-day advanced replacement. You open a case, Fortinet validates the hardware failure, and dispatches a replacement unit. The defective unit is returned after the replacement arrives.

Can this subscription be transferred to a different FortiGate 120G unit?
FortiCare licenses are tied to a specific device serial number and generally cannot be transferred. If a unit is replaced under RMA, Fortinet typically migrates the entitlement. Contact Fortinet Support for serial-number transfer requests outside of RMA scenarios.
