What FortiCare Premium Covers

FortiCare Premium for the FortiAP-23JF includes three core entitlements. First, 24/7 access to Fortinet’s Technical Assistance Center for configuration questions, troubleshooting, and escalations. Second, ongoing firmware and security patch entitlement, so the AP can receive FortiOS wireless updates throughout the contract period. Third, Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) hardware replacement coverage if the unit fails. The 1-year term starts on the date the contract is registered against the unit’s serial number.

Does the FAP-23JF-A need a FortiCare contract to receive firmware updates?
