The FortiAP 23JF is Fortinet's Wi-Fi 6 wall-plate and desktop access point — purpose-built for hotel rooms, private offices, student accommodation, and work-from-home deployments where the AP mounts flush at the wall plate and doubles as a wired LAN switch for the desk. Three radios cover 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz for clients while the third radio provides 24x7 background scanning for rogue APs and wireless threats on both bands simultaneously. Wi-Fi 6 features — OFDMA, UL/DL MU-MIMO, BSS coloring, and Target Wake Time — improve efficiency and reliability in dense device environments. Four GbE LAN ports are built in: one 802.3at PoE PD input, one 802.3af PSE output that powers a downstream IP phone or IoT device without a separate injector, and two standard LAN ports. An integrated BLE radio supports beacons and locationing applications. The AP is managed by any FortiGate, FortiEdge Cloud, or FortiSASE — no separate controller licence required. The 23JF ships with a wall mounting kit. Power it with a GPI-130 802.3at PoE injector, an SP-FAP23J-PA-10 DC adapter, or any 802.3at PoE switch port. Optional FAP-MNT-WJ-20 desktop stand converts it to a tabletop unit.
The FortiAP 23JF is a current-generation Wi-Fi 6 access point, actively sold and fully supported. It is not on an end-of-order or end-of-support schedule. For Wi-Fi 7 capability in the same wall-plate form factor, the FortiAP 23JK is the direct successor.

The 23JK is Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be), tri-band 2.4/5/6 GHz, 802.3bt PoE with a 10 GbE WAN uplink, UTP capable, and delivers about 9.3 Gbps aggregate — roughly 5x more throughput.
