Does the 5-year term lock the AP to a specific firmware version?

No. FortiCare Premium entitles the AP to receive all FortiAP firmware and FortiOS wireless updates released during the coverage period. There is no version lock. You can update to any supported firmware release as Fortinet publishes it throughout the 5 years.

What happens if the FortiAP-23JF is replaced under RMA during the 5-year term?
