The FortiAP 23JK is Fortinet's Wi-Fi 7 wall-plate and desktop access point — purpose-built for hotel rooms, private offices, student accommodation, and meeting rooms where the AP mounts flush at the wall plate and doubles as the wired LAN switch for the desk. Three 2x2 MU-MIMO radios cover 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz, delivering up to ~9.3 Gbps aggregate with full Wi-Fi 7 features: OFDMA, 4096-QAM, BSS coloring, and Target Wake Time. A 10 Gigabit multigigabit WAN port (802.3bt PoE input) feeds the unit while three Gigabit LAN ports serve the room — LAN3 includes an 802.3af PSE output that powers an IP phone, thin client, or IoT sensor without a separate injector. On-board UTP (Application Control + Web Filtering) enables per-user policy enforcement directly on the AP, without routing all traffic back to the FortiGate. Management is via FortiGate, FortiEdge Cloud, or FortiSASE — no extra controller licence. For traditional ceiling-mount deployments choose the FortiAP 231K (tri-radio, 5 GbE, 802.3at).
