The FortiAP 23JK is Fortinet's Wi-Fi 7 wall-plate access point - a slim in-wall unit that drops into a single-gang or junction box and turns one Ethernet drop into full tri-band Wi-Fi 7 plus wired ports at the desk. Three radios serve clients on 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz at once with 2x2 MU-MIMO and 320 MHz channels, while a 10 Gigabit multigigabit uplink keeps backhaul well ahead of the air. Three Gigabit LAN ports feed wired devices, and one of them offers 802.3af PoE pass-through to power an IP phone or camera directly from the AP. An integrated BLE / Zigbee radio supports beacons and IoT, and the AP is managed by any FortiGate or by FortiEdge Cloud - no separate controller and no per-AP management license. It is the ideal per-room AP for hotels, student housing, clinics and micro-branches where you want Wi-Fi 7 and wired ports behind one wall plate. For ceiling-mount coverage of open areas, pair it with the 231K or 241K.

The FortiAP 23JK is a current-generation Wi-Fi 7 access point, actively sold and fully supported. It is not on an end-of-order or end-of-support schedule.
The 23JK is a slim in-wall unit that mounts into a single-gang or junction box, turning one Ethernet drop into tri-band Wi-Fi 7 plus three wired Gigabit LAN ports at the desk – ideal for one-per-room deployments in hotels, dorms and clinics.
It is a Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) AP with three radios and 2×2 MU-MIMO, reaching about 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, 2.88 Gbps on 5 GHz and 5.76 Gbps on 6 GHz (roughly 9.3 Gbps aggregate), and supports up to 512 clients per serving radio.
It uplinks over a 10 Gigabit multigigabit RJ45 (WAN1, 802.3bt powered) and provides three Gigabit LAN ports – one with 802.3af PoE pass-through to power a device such as an IP phone – plus pass-through and RS-232 serial. Maximum draw is about 31 W.
