Yes. All 24 GE RJ45 ports support both 802.3af (15.4W) and 802.3at PoE+ (30W). The total switch budget is 370W. At 802.3af loads (~15W average), all 24 ports can run simultaneously. At full 802.3at, the switch can supply around 12 ports at 30W before hitting the budget ceiling.
The dedicated 10/100 OOB management port provides a separate path to the switch’s management plane that is independent of the data ports. If a data-plane loop or high-traffic event disrupts normal forwarding, you can still reach the switch CLI and web interface over the management port — useful for troubleshooting without adding to the problem traffic.
The FS-224D-FPOE supports static routing, RIP v1/v2, and OSPF. This allows the switch to participate directly in your IP routing topology without relying entirely on a central router or FortiGate for inter-VLAN routing. BGP is not supported; that would require an upstream FortiGate or core router.
