It ships with a mounting kit and a PoE injector, carries dual 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports for redundant links or daisy-chain pass-through, and includes an integrated BLE/Zigbee radio for location services and IoT. It is managed by any FortiGate or by FortiLAN Cloud with no separate controller. The 234F is end-of-order but remains in our catalog, fully supported and renewable through 2031. For new outdoor rollouts the direct replacement is the Wi-Fi 6E FortiAP 234G, which adds the clean 6 GHz band in the same outdoor form factor; the U234F is the Universal (UTP) sibling.
